Suit Club

My father owned a men’s clothing store in Rock Hill in the 1950’s. Customers would buy clothing and pay for it in weekly installments.

This was called the Suit Club.

Every Wednesday my father would collect the money from his customers, after sitting down and talking to each of them. One of my fondest memories from my childhood is going with him on these visits. In this picture he is handing a bill to one of his customers.
